www.robinliddell.com Welcome to the official website of Robin Liddell, international racing driver.

For the 2008 season Robin has joined the North Carolina based Stevenson Motorsports team. He will be driving a Pontiac GXP-R in the Rolex Grand Am Series, which commences with the Daytona 24 Hours in January, and comprises 13 races spanning the US, Canada and Mexico. This is Robin’s second full season campaign in Grand Am; he finished 2nd in the championship in 2006, winning four races aboard a Porsche 911 GT3.

Robin started his racing career in 1994 by winning his first ever motor race at Donington Park, and after several years competing in single seat formula racing cars against the likes of Jenson Button and Kimi Raikonnen he turned his attentions to sportscar racing, winning the European Le Mans Series title in 2001.

He has been quickly rising through the ranks ever since; in 2004 he achieved his biggest victory to date when he won the Rolex Daytona 24 Hours GT Class aboard a Porsche 911 GT3-RS. He also took six LMP2 class wins that year driving a Lola-Judd in the American Le Mans Series, including the 1000 mile Petit Le Mans race. In 2005 he was picked as a factory driver for the Panoz team in the ALMS, where he scored a memorable win against Porsche at Road Atlanta and took the track record. Last season saw his return to ALMS competition where he gained four podium finishes aboard a Porsche, as well as driving the LMP2 Radical in the Le Mans Series in Europe and at the Le Mans 24 Hours.
